Sweet Water Farmhouse (Vermont) . "We run a low-key operation here, but we hope it's a little luxurious, too. This renovated 18th century house has two guest rooms with excellent queen beds, hardwood floors throughout and countless windows looking out onto pastures, fields and forests. And the deep clawfoot tub is just the thing after a day out and about or before a great dinner in town. Staying here is like visiting friends of friends in Vermont. (We are all friends of Bill and Lois W. here, too.) Look forward to a homemade quiche or continental breakfast with local organic produce and farm products from our garden or from the organic dairy literally just over the hill. Good organic coffee or tea. (I am happy to provide gluten-free breakfasts.) We love to have campfires at our fire-ring on the hill above the house. Gorgeous, clean swimming pond within walking distance of the house! 15 minutes off I-91 from Bernardston, MA and 15 minutes from quaint, lively Brattleboro, VT, home to an historic arthouse movie theatre, museums, music venues, great restaurants, some good meetings and of course, incredible Vermont scenery. Hope to see you soon." |

Roots
Jungle Retreat. A unique Bed and Breakfast nestled
in the heart of Dominica, next to the Bamboo River. "We
love having guests visit us and we especially like it when we
have special interest groups. We have built our bed and breakfast
with recovery in mind ... there are even 12 steps going up to
the restaurant. It's
a very spiritual place, parrots flying overhead, a gorgeous river,
and surrounded by jungle. We were thinking that it would be
ideal to have groups come with the intent of working the first
three steps or all twelve depending on how long their stay is.
We can certainly adjust that as needed. The mornings can begin
with prayer, meditation, meetings; then hiking, diving, whale watching
or one of the fabulous excursions available here; and in the evenings
we can have a speaker or a topic meeting."
